Goalkeeper Training with MASA
Are you interested in taking a shot at being in goal? Taught by trainers with over 20 years of playing experience and certifications from United Soccer Coaches, MASA’s soccer goalkeeper training sessions can help take your game, confidence, and skill to the next level. Being in goal is no easy feat, but with expert insight from MASA goalkeeper trainers who have stepped on the same turf as you in your exact position, you can expect to receive powerful insight about proper tricks and techniques that’ll help you rise up to the challenge.
All of our 1-on-1 and small group soccer goalkeeper training sessions last for 60-90 minutes. Prior to your first scheduled session with a MASA goalkeeper trainer, you’ll provide a brief history of your experience playing and any previous/existing health conditions or injuries so the trainer knows how to best adjust the programming to meet your needs.
The first scheduled session includes an in-depth assessment looking at your:
body positioning for corner kicks, breakaways, penalty kicks, and long shots
speed, agility, and quickness (SAQ) in getting to the ball and getting up after a save has been made
punting, kicking, and throwing ability, looking at distance, form, and accuracy
diving technique for shots on the ground and in the air
Once a MASA trainer has gone through your assessment and inquired about any previous/existing injuries or health conditions, a customized training plan will be created for you that keeps your personal goals in mind and includes specific drills and training frequency recommendations. The drills recommended by your goalkeeping trainer will be put into place to help enhance any areas of improvement and strengthen your overall goalkeeping skills.
From day one of training, MASA’s goalkeeper trainers are invested in your athletic growth and skill development and are dedicated to making every soccer goalkeeper training session with us enjoyable, helpful, and worthwhile.
